We are looking for a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and software applications through effective testing and defect management.
Key Responsibilities
Understand business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
Re-test fixed defects and perform regression testing.
Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
Execute cross-browser and compatibility testing.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards.
Continuously improve testing processes and QA practices.
Required Skills
1-2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
Good knowledge of Manual Testing concepts.
Robust understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience in writing test cases and test scenarios.
Good knowledge of defect life cycle.
Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools.
Basic knowledge of API testing and Postman.
Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
Good to Have
Basic knowledge of automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Python, Java, or any programming language.
Experience with Git/GitHub.
Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
