Job Description – Assistant Professor – RPA

Position:
Assistant Professor – RPA (Robotic Process Automation)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions on
RPA and Intelligent Automation
.
- Teach tools such as
UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
.
- Develop course content, lab exercises, assignments, and assessments.
- Provide hands-on training in
workflow automation, Excel, web, email, PDF, and database automation
.
- Guide students in RPA projects, case studies, and industry-oriented applications.
- Teach concepts including
RPA architecture, bot development, selectors, variables, exception handling, Orchestrator, queues, and REFramework
.
- Integrate
AI, OCR, APIs, and intelligent document processing
with RPA where applicable.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic activities, and departmental initiatives.
- Mentor students for projects, internships,



competitions, and industry certifications.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of
RPA concepts and automation workflows
.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major RPA platform, preferably
UiPath
.
- Knowledge of
Python / .NET, SQL, APIs, Excel automation
, or scripting is an advantage.
- Good communication, presentation, and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to deliver practical, industry-oriented training.

Qualification
- M.Tech / M.E. / MCA / M.Sc. / Ph.D.
in Computer Science, IT, AI, or a relevant discipline, as applicable to institutional/UGC norms.
- Relevant industry certifications in
RPA/UiPath
will be an added advantage.

Preferred Profile
- Candidates with
both academic and industry RPA experience
are preferred.
- Experience in developing and deploying real-world automation solutions will be an advantage.
