Minimum Qualification : Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT); PhD in any physiotherapy specialty is Mandatory.

Experienced Required: 8+ Years (Total 5 years as Assistant Professor, of which a minimum of 2 years preferably as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade)).

Key Responsibilities

Research & Publications (Highest Priority)
- Publish a minimum of 2 original research papers annually as First/Corresponding Author in Scopus/WoS/UGC-CARE indexed journals, at least one in a Q1/Q2 or high-impact journal where feasible.
- Guide/co-guide PhD scholars and MPT dissertations; support ethical clearance (IEC/CTRI) and publication from guided research.
- Secure extramural research grants, consultancy assignments, or sponsored academic/clinical projects.
- Pursue patents, copyrights, or rehabilitation product/device innovation where applicable.

Teaching, Clinical & Academic Leadership




- Deliver advanced theory/clinical teaching and supervise OPD/clinical postings with a focus on higher-order clinical reasoning.
- Lead curriculum and assessment design for assigned subjects; mentor junior (Assistant Professor) faculty.
- Develop digital academic content (MOOC/LMS/OER) and conduct skill-development/CPD programmes.

Institutional Leadership & Outreach
- Take on coordinator/in-charge responsibilities (accreditation documentation, admissions, research cell, etc.).
- Build industry/hospital/international collaborations and MoUs; mobilize CSR or philanthropic resource support.
- Represent the department in institutional committees and community/extension activities.
