Role Description The Cybersecurity Trainee will support the security team in day-to-day activities such as monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, assisting with basic penetration testing tasks, and documenting findings under guidance. Responsibilities include learning and applying cybersecurity best practices, helping analyze security alerts, and supporting the preparation of assessment reports. The role involves collaborating with senior security specialists to understand application, network, and information security concepts and tools. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring a consistent presence at the office for training, mentorship, and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with an interest in threat detection and risk mitigation.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Network Security and Cyber domains, including common network protocols and security controls.




- Candidates should possess understanding or coursework related to Application Security, including secure coding principles and common application vulnerabilities.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows), basic scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash), and common security tools (a plus).
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; certifications or ongoing training in security (e.g., Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
