Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all machines and components produced meet the company’s rigorous quality standards. This role will involve close collaboration with production teams, engineers, and vendors to identify quality issues, implement solutions, and monitor continuous improvement in product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Inspection:
- Conduct regular inspections on machines, components, and materials to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify the quality of parts.
- Review and assess production processes and finished products to detect any non-conformance.
- Process Control and Improvement:
- Work with production teams to define and document quality control standards and procedures.
- Monitor the production process to identify areas for improvement and ensure process optimization.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to minimize defects and maximize efficiency.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Assist in maintaining quality management systems (QMS) and updating documentation.
- Testing and Reporting:
- Conduct product testing at various stages of production and analyze test results.
- Document all quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and suggest corrective actions.
- Generate and maintain detailed reports on quality performance, including defects, scrap rates, and process deviations.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
