About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Vendor Manager to lead vendor/resourcemanagement for our Translation & Localization projects. The role will be responsible for building andmanaging a robust vendor pool, ensuring vendor quality and availability, allocating resources accordingto project requirements, and maintaining long-term vendor relationships.The Senior Vendor Manager will also guide junior team members, monitor vendor performance, andwork closely with Project Managers and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality projectdelivery

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Sourcing & Network Building
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and maintain a reliable pool of translators, proofreaders, editors,interpreters, and localization specialists.
- Develop and maintain a strong vendor network across multiple languages and skill sets.
- Conduct vendor outreach and negotiate rates and terms based on project requirements.
- Continuously expand the vendor database to meet current and future project demands.

2. Vendor Management & Relationship Building




- Manage day-to-day communication and relationships with existing vendors.
- Ensure vendors are available and responsive according to project requirements.
- Address vendor concerns, queries, escalations, and operational issues.
- Build long-term professional relationships with high-performing vendors.

3. Vendor Allocation & Project Support
- Analyse project requirements and identify suitable vendors based on language, expertise,availability, quality, turnaround time, and budget.
- Assign resources/vendors to projects and ensure timely acceptance of assignments.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and internal teams for resource planning.
- Handle urgent and high-priority resource requirements.

4. Vendor Performance Management
- Track vendor performance based on quality, turnaround time, responsiveness, reliability, andadherence to project requirements.
