Job Summary

This opportunity is for Sri Agarwal Ispat (Chennai) Private Limited and the position holder will be responsible for managing the sales, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth for the organization. This role demands a solid understanding of the steel market, the ability to build relationships with key customers, and the expertise to manage a high-performing sales team. The Sales professional will also collaborate with the production, quality, despatch, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities:

a) Sales Strategy Development:
- Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth for the organization.
- Analyze market trends and customer demands to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

b) Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Provide regular training to the team to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and market trends.




- Set clear sales goals and performance metrics, conducting regular performance reviews with the team.

c) Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue new customers to expand the service centre's market share.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

d) Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely product availability and delivery according to customer specifications.
- Coordinate with despatch to ensure smooth delivery and manage customer expectations.

e) Product Knowledge and Innovation:
- Stay updated on new steel products and innovations in the steel service industry.
- Provide input into product development and improvements based on customer feedback and market demands.
