Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, emotional, social, and behavioural concerns.
- Identify students who may require additional emotional or psychological support.
- Conduct age-appropriate well-being and life-skills sessions for students.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to understand and address student concerns.
- Maintain appropriate and confidential counselling records and documentation.
- Develop and implement student well-being initiatives and awareness programmes.
- Support students in developing healthy coping mechanisms, communication skills, confidence, and resilience.
- Handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Make appropriate referrals to external mental-health professionals when required.
- Contribute to creating a secure, inclusive,
and supportive school environment.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a relevant field.
- Prior experience as a School Counsellor/Student Counsellor will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal, and observation skills.
- Compassionate, approachable, patient, and non-judgmental personality.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Strong collaboration skills with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
