1. Perform a comprehensive eye exam on a patient including history taking, visual acuity assessment, objective and subjective refraction using retinoscopy and autorefractor, slit- lamp examination, color vision assessment, pupil evaluation and binocular vision/oculomotor evaluation in the out-patient department (OPD).
2. Perform diagnostic procedures on a patient including OCT, A-Scan, B-Scan, Fundus photos, Electrodiagnostic procedures including Electroretinograms and Visually evoked potentials, corneal topography, wavefront aberrometry, and visual fields assessment.
3. Perform Fundus Flourescein Angiography (FFA) to assess retinal health of a patient under the direct supervision of an ophthalmologist.
4. Interact with peers and trainees in the OPD and diagnostics area to ensure a smooth flow of patients and the quality of patient care in ensured.
5. Actively engage with optometry, ophthalmic technician and vision technician trainees to
teach and enhance their clinical skills.
