Role: GIS Database Specialist / Database Administrator (Oracle & PostgreSQL)

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Database Specialist with strong expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database queries, stored procedures, and data management. You should be able to analyze and ensure data parity between Oracle and PostgreSQL, and successfully migrate data from Oracle to PostgreSQL within the AWS workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
- Database Migration: Migrate data from Oracle to PostgreSQL in AWS, ensuring accuracy and minimal downtime.
- GIS Data Handling: Manage and migrate GIS-related data, incorporating necessary changes during the transition.
- Database Management:



Develop and optimize database queries and stored procedures in both Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- AWS Experience: Utilize AWS database services for deployment and management.
- Client Collaboration: Work independently with client teams to understand and deliver on requirements.

Desired Skills:
- Strong experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Proven track record in database migration, especially Oracle to PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in managing GIS data and related database changes.
- Experience with AWS database services is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with client teams
