Roles & Responsibilities Vehicle CAE Project Leader Crash
- Lead Vehicle Crash CAE activities for full vehicle programs.
- Perform and review frontal, side and rear crash simulations.
- Evaluate vehicle crashworthiness and structural performance.
- Analyse crash results, load paths, energy absorption and structural deformation.
- Perform crash countermeasure analysis and recommend design improvements.
- Support vehicle safety attribute development and target achievement.
- Work on occupant safety and restraint system optimization.
- Correlate CAE results with physical crash test results.
- Coordinate with Design, Safety, Testing and other CAE teams.
- Lead CAE projects, review technical deliverables and guide junior engineers.
- Ensure CAE activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.
