Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Import Pricing across international trade lanes.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate, and maintain competitive rates with overseas agents, shipping lines, NVOCCs, and local consolidators.
- Monitor freight market trends, rate movements, capacity, demand-supply conditions, surcharges, and competitor pricing.
- Maintain solid relationships with overseas agents and trade desk partners worldwide.
- Negotiate effectively to achieve the best buying rates and commercial terms.
- Provide competitive pricing support for RFQs, tenders, key accounts, and new business opportunities.
- Maintain updated rate sheets,tariffs, surcharges, and partner rate databases.
- Analyze trade-lane profitability and identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service,



and Documentation teams for timely pricing.
- Ensure pricing accuracy, timely responses, and minimal revenue leakage.
- Develop and strengthen the overseas agent and consolidator network.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 3 - 7 years of relevant experience in Import Pricing within Freight Forwarding/NVOCC.
- Thorough knowledge of Import Pricing and Freight Forwarding processes.
- Strong market intelligence, analytical ability, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with overseas agents and local consolidators.
- Strong understanding of international trade lanes, freight charges, consolidation, and surcharges.
