- Develop and Maintain Programs
- Write and update programs using COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2.
- Create and maintain CICS screens (BMS maps).
- Handle Batch Jobs
- Develop and monitor batch processing using JCL and tools like Control-M or CA-7.
- Debug and Fix Issues
- Analyze abends (errors) in jobs and fix issues in code.
- Provide production support to keep systems running smoothly.
- Testing
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Documentation
- Prepare technical documents, test cases, and job runbooks.
- Work in Teams
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and project managers.
- Attend daily calls and follow Agile/Scrum practices if required.
