1Role & responsibilities
- Review tender/Approved documents, technical specifications, and project drawings for LV switchgear systems
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, engineering, and overheads
- Perform technical evaluation and selection of LV switchgear components (e.g., panels, breakers, busbars)
- Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals in line with client requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, local regulations, etc.)
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and sales teams for accurate project costing
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and value engineering options

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree/3 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 1-6 years of experience in LV switchgear estimation or design
- Solid knowledge of LV switchgear systems and components
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC) and local electrical codes
- Experience with estimation software, AutoCad and MS Office tools (Excel in particular)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
