About the Role :Whispering Lawns is looking for an energetic, personable Venue Manager to be the face of the venue and drive client engagement on-ground. This role is central to converting enquiries and walk-ins into confirmed bookings, and to showcasing the full range of venue options across our group — Whispering Lawns, Utsav, and Avengers — to every prospective client.

Location :Whispering Lawns (Mysore), with travel to Bangalore as required
Experience: 2+ years of experience

Compensation : ₹25,000–30,000/month fixed + performance-linked variable pay Weekly Off 2+ years in a client-facing sales role (events, hospitality, or venue management preferred) One weekday off, on rotation — weekends are core working days for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

Welcome and personally attend to walk-in clients and prospective customers visiting the venue Handle enquiries received via phone, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins promptly and professionally Conduct venue walkthroughs, clearly explaining features, capacity, amenities,



and offerings Present and cross-sell options across the group’s venues — Whispering Lawns, Utsav, and Avengers — matching each client to the venue best suited to their event and budget Understand each client’s requirements (wedding, birthday, corporate event, school function, etc.) and build customised pitches and packages to address their specific needs Create a solid first impression and build rapport to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings Maintain a log of enquiries, follow-ups, and conversions; report status regularly to management Coordinate with the operations/events team to ensure information shared with clients — availability, pricing, add-on services — is accurate and current Build and maintain client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals Initiate cold calling and mailing campaigns to generate additional business leads Maintain a data-oriented approach: accurately capture and organise client d
