Role & responsibilities

18-20 years of professional experience in Supplier Management (Preferably in a Multinational Company with Global sourcing experience for min 5-8 years)

20-22 years professional experience in Purchasing , Working experience in European MNC ( must ) with Global sourcing leadership role for 3- 5 years. Mindset , understanding and experience in managing EU/ USA/Asian customer's expectaions.
- Global Sourcing from SEA & India within cost reduction targets
- All Global parts localisation projects timeline adherence
- GSO expense control , monthly Business Case and MIS update.
- Training & Development of the Team
- Implementing standard operating procedures
- seeking Global support and providing support to team
- Quality focus for Recall avoidance

Strategic planning
Evaluation & selection of vendors as per KB Global guidelines
Driving Global Sourcing New Part Development to complete as per time line
Ensuring supply to different global locations as per projections to meet target of Annual Purchase/savings Value.

Team development and personalised coaching by identifying the gaps
Negotiation, Commercial Settlement, Long Term Contracts with suppliers.
Supplier Relation Improvement, support in suppliers quality and delivery performance improvement
Completion of PPAP for New Part Development
Strategic Planning and supplier upgradation
Align and take support from Global category and GSO coordinator in Europe/Asia/USA MATERIAL COST WITHIN Target
To monitor price, Product costing,To put forward current ideas to reduce cost NEW PART DEVELOPMENT
To select suppliers,To negotiate price, To monitor project timeline, To monitor project costs, To meet time deadlines for product development, IN ORDER TO develop new products for exports with current suppliers ensure RAMP UP PART PRODUCTION AT SUPPLIER END TO AVOID SHORTAGES GLOBALLY. Align/with Local CVS Purchasing team for such cases
