Role & responsibilities
Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope of work.
Prepare preliminary and detailed electrical cost estimates for industrial projects.
Calculate quantities of materials, equipment, and labor required for electrical installations.
Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices.
Compile and submit bid proposals within designated deadlines.
Assist in risk analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.
Coordinate with the procurement, engineering, and project teams to ensure accuracy.
Conduct site visits and gather field data when necessary.
Prepare and present estimation reports to management.
