Job Description

Job Role – Rebar Front Line Supervisor (FLS)
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day reinforcement activities for high-rise residential projects, ensuring planned requirements are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor rebar yard operations, including receipt, identification, stacking, tagging and proper storage of reinforcement steel.
- Supervise cutting and bending operations at the yard/Steel Service Centre as per approved BBS and ensure adherence to required dimensions and specifications.
- Coordinate with the planning and site teams to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of cut and bent reinforcement as per the construction requirement.
- Monitor BBS-wise production,



dispatch schedules and material availability to avoid delays in reinforcement activities at site.
- Track and monitor steel wastage and offcut generation at the yard, ensuring effective segregation, storage and maximum utilization of offcuts.
- Ensure proper bundling, tagging and identification of reinforcement materials for easy segregation and traceability at site.
- Monitor manpower deployment, productivity and work quality during cutting, bending and yard operations.
- Coordinate with site, planning, SSC and other concerned teams to resolve material, BBS and dispatch-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, housekeeping and material handling requirements during all reinforcement yard activities.
- Assist in reconciliation, quantity tracking and reporting of reinforcement steel consumption, wastage and dispatch.
