Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities of a distillery/manufacturing unit, including accounting, statutory compliance, inventory & production accounting, costing, MIS reporting, and audit coordination.

Location: Shirala, Sangli
Industry: Distillery / Alcoholic Beverages Manufacturing
- Manage day-to-day accounting, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, month-end closing and finalization of accounts.
- Handle manufacturing/distillery accounting, including raw materials, production, WIP, finished goods, costing, wastage and variance analysis.
- Coordinate Excise & regulatory accounting, including reconciliation of production, dispatch, stock and duties.
- Support GST, TDS and other statutory compliances, including reconciliations and coordination with auditors/consultants.
- Monitor inventory and stock accounting, physical verification, valuation and variance reconciliation.
- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections and profitability/variance analysis for management.




- Coordinate statutory/internal audits, prepare audit schedules and ensure closure of observations.
- Ensure accurate ERP accounting and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS and statutory compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing/distillery accounting, inventory, costing and production accounting.
- Strong Excel skills Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and financial analysis.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Tally or similar ERP.
- Positive analytical, reconciliation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in Distillery, Brewery, Alcoholic Beverages, FMCG, or Process Manufacturing will be preferred.
