Role Description
The Legal Officer role at DEEJOS Architects & Construction is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Legal Officer will review, draft, and manage contracts and legal documents related to construction projects, Contractors, Vendors and clients. This role includes advising project teams and management on legal risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting dispute resolution and negotiations when needed.



The Legal Officer will coordinate with external legal consultants as required, maintain accurate legal records, and contribute to the development of internal policies and procedures to minimize legal exposure.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in Law and Business Law to advise on company operations and compliance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Contract Law and Legal Document Preparation for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements.
- Candidates should possess experience in Legal Consulting to provide clear, practical guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Counci
