1. Job Purpose

To support the Housekeeping Department in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, presentation and guest comfort across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas, while ensuring adherence to hotel standards, SOPs and safety requirements.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Guest Rooms & Suites
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and assigned areas.
- Ensure rooms are cleaned, serviced and presented according to established hotel standards.
- Verify room readiness before releasing rooms to Front Office.
- Monitor room status and coordinate closely with Front Office regarding arrivals, departures, VIPs, room moves and special requests.
- Ensure all guest amenities, linen, toiletries and supplies are correctly placed and replenished.
- Follow up on guest requests and ensure timely resolution of housekeeping-related concerns.
- Report maintenance defects, damages or unusual observations immediately to Engineering and the Housekeeping management team.

B. Public Areas
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of lobbies,



corridors, elevators, restrooms, staircases and other designated public areas.
- Conduct regular inspections throughout the shift and ensure deficiencies are immediately rectified.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation are maintained in guest-facing areas at all times.

C. Team Supervision
- Supervise and guide Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants and other housekeeping associates as assigned.
- Allocate daily duties and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
- Conduct briefings at the beginning of shifts and communicate operational priorities.
- Monitor attendance, grooming, punctuality and performance of team members.
- Coach associates on cleaning techniques, service standards, SOPs and guest interaction.
- Report performance issues, absenteeism and disciplinary concerns to the Housekeeping management team.
