Lead – Java with Sterling OMS

Location: Chennai
Work Mode: Chennai(WFO) 5 Days
Experience: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17+ and J2EE.
- Apply strong Object-Oriented Design principles in application development.
- Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Configure, customize, and maintain IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
- Work with Sterling OMS APIs, User Exits, Agents, and Pipelines.
- Design and implement event-driven integrations using messaging platforms.
- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to implement OMS solutions.
- Support order processing, inventory, sourcing, and fulfilment workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.

Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+ and J2EE.




- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Deep configuration and customization experience in IBM Sterling OMS.
- Experience with Sterling OMS APIs, User Exits, Agents, and Pipelines.
- Manhattan OMS experience is also relevant.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ.
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Good understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Practical experience in order processing, inventory management, sourcing logic, and fulfilment systems.
- Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
