Position Summary
The Chartered Accountant (CA) will be responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the manufacturing unit, including accounting, taxation, costing, budgeting, compliance, audits, and financial reporting. The role requires robust knowledge of manufacturing accounting, inventory control, and statutory compliances applicable to the plastic and sheet metal industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts as per accounting standards.
- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial analysis.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets.
2. Costing & Manufacturing Finance
- Develop and monitor product costing for plastic and sheet metal products.
- Conduct cost analysis of raw materials, production, and overhead expenses.
- Analyze variances between actual and standard costs.
- Monitor inventory valuation and WIP (Work-in-Progress).
- Implement cost control measures to improve profitability.
- Analyze machine-wise and product-wise profitability.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with:
- GST
- Income Tax
- TDS
- Professional Tax
- PF & ESIC related financial compliances
- Companies Act provisions
- Handle GST returns, assessments, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities and consultants.
4. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate and manage:
- Statutory Audit
- Tax Audit
- Internal Audit
- Cost Audit (if applicable)
- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
