Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced
Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant
with strong expertise in
Portugal tax, VAT, and EU statutory compliance
. The consultant will support Oracle Fusion Finance implementation and/or production support activities for European entities, with a primary focus on
Portugal tax requirements
.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support Oracle Fusion Finance modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Cash Management
- Configure and support
Portugal VAT (IVA)
and broader EU tax requirements.
- Work on
Intrastat reporting
, EU reverse-charge mechanisms, and statutory tax reporting.
- Support
SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax)
requirements and related reporting processes.
- Gather business requirements,



perform fit-gap analysis, configure solutions, and support testing and go-live activities.
- Provide
L2/L3 production support
and troubleshoot functional issues.
- Coordinate with technical teams on
tax engine, integrations, interfaces, and statutory reporting solutions
.
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and training materials.
- Work closely with finance and tax stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of tax and statutory reporting requirements for European entities.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Finance Functional experience.
- Minimum
2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Finance implementations
.
- Strong experience with
Portugal VAT (IVA)
and EU tax requirements.
- Valuable knowledge of
Intrastat, EU reverse charge, and statutory
