TITLE: Manufacturing engineering manager

SUMMARY: Manage and support the manufacturing engineering team, creating process flow, defining effective manufacturing processes for high-quality products. The role involves managing product transfers and development projects, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. Utilizes technical problem solving, project management skills, and sound people management to meet business objectives. Ensures compliance with company policies and helps improve and maintain engineering processes and best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Leadership and Management:
- Manage, lead, and coach the manufacturing engineering team and establish priorities and expectations for their activities.
- Lead the Manufacturing Engineering function, including process routing and cost estimation
- Support training and development for the Manufacturing Engineers to enhance their skills and continuous learning latest manufacturing techniques
- Product Development and Optimization:




- Develop and define efficient manufacturing processes to introduce new products to manufacturing operations
- Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to optimize production operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Project Management:
- Oversee manufacturing engineering projects from concept to completion. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee product transfers and development projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Process Optimization:
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, utilizing CAD/CAM applications and CNC machines.
- Design and optimize tools and fixtures, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in production.
- Continuously improve manufacturing processes through Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control
