Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator (Senior DBA) with deep expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL to lead the stability, performance, and evolution of enterprise database platforms. This role plays a critical part in ensuring database reliability, security, automation, and scalability across a complex, global technology landscape, while partnering closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams.
Role

As a Senior DBA, you will own the endtoend administration, optimization, and operational excellence of enterprise database environments. You will lead database configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives, ensuring high availability, resiliency, and compliance with security and governance standards.

You will proactively monitor database platforms, identify and resolve complex performance and stability issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive longterm remediation and optimization strategies. You will play a senior role in database architecture decisions, backup and recovery design, replication strategies,



and cloudbased database administration.

This role requires close collaboration with application, infrastructure, and platform engineering teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable database solutions. You will ensure adherence to change, incident, and problem management processes while continuously improving operational maturity.

In addition, you will champion database best practices, standards, and governance across the organization, contribute to process improvements, and provide technical leadership through mentoring and guidance of junior DBAs. Participation in an oncall rotation, including afterhours and weekend support, is required to ensure service continuity.
