ABOUT THE ROLE

The Quality Officer – QA/QC will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities, materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building construction, real estate or EPC projects, with solid exposure to structural works, finishing, inspections, testing and quality documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Control – Site Execution
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct inspections at different stages of construction.
- Check structural, civil and finishing works for quality compliance.
- Coordinate with site engineers and contractors to resolve quality issues.




- Ensure proper implementation of approved method statements and checklists.

Material & Workmanship Inspection
- Inspect incoming construction materials and verify compliance with approved specifications.
- Coordinate material testing and maintain test reports.
- Monitor concrete, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, tiling and finishing activities.
- Ensure workmanship meets defined project quality standards.

QA/QC Documentation
- Prepare and maintain Inspection & Test Plans, checklists and inspection records.
- Maintain material approvals, test reports and quality documentation.
- Identify deviations and initiate corrective actions.
- Raise and track NCRs wherever required.
- Maintain snag/punch lists and ensure timely closure.

Consultant & Contractor Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, PMC and project teams on quality-related matters.
- Conduct joint inspections wherever required.
