We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft BI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ETL development, SSIS, SSAS, DAX, Power BI, Azure Data Factory (ADF), data warehousing, and data lakes.

The candidate should be detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about working with data. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with development, product, and business teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SSIS packages and data integration workflows.
- Collaborate with the development team on SQL database updates, schema changes, stored procedures, and data-related product enhancements.
- Analyze business and product data and generate data summaries and insights to support AI prompt generation and AI-driven use cases.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SSAS Tabular models/cubes to support business intelligence and reporting solutions.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot DAX queries and measures for analytical reporting.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and datasets that provide actionable business insights.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and quality across BI solutions and data pipelines.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, SQL, ADF, and other BI processes.
- Design and manage data integration and orchestration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Develop and maintain data warehouse and data lake solutions.
- Write,



optimize, and troubleshoot T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
- Monitor BI processes and proactively identify opportunities for performance optimization and process improvements.
- Work collaboratively with the development and product teams to support BI-related product releases and enhancements.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience with ETL development and SSIS package development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), preferably SSAS Tabular.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, including writing and optimizing complex measures and queries.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboards, reports, semantic models, datasets, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration and orchestration.
- Strong T-SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, views, and query optimization.
- Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lakes.
- Experience working with large datasets and optimizing BI solutions for performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Azure cloud-based data and analytics services.
- Experience with other Microsoft BI and data technologies.
- Familiarity with SQL Server database administration and database management concepts.
- Experience working with AI/ML data use cases or preparing structured data for AI applications.
- Microsoft certifications related to Power BI, Azure Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence.
- Experience working in a product-based or quick-paced software development environment
