Position Overview

We are seeking a Cosmetic R&D; Executive to join our dynamic Research & Development team

This role is ideal for someone passionate about formulation science and product innovation in the personal care industry

You will play a critical role in creating and optimizing formulations for skin care, cosmetics, and oral care products while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize innovative cosmetic and personal care formulations (skin care, oral care, hair care, etc) in line with client briefs and market trends

Conduct ingredient research, stability testing, and product performance evaluations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality control, and marketing to ensure smooth product development

Maintain accurate records of formulations, lab trials, and technical data sheets

Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies

Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot to commercial production

Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, and applicable cosmetic regulations

Required Qualifications & Skills

Hard Skills:

Strong understanding of cosmetic chemistry, formulation techniques, and ingredient functionality





Proficiency in lab equipment, stability testing methods, and analytical techniques

Knowledge of regulatory compliance (eg BIS, FDA, EU cosmetic regulations)

Experience with natural, organic, and clean beauty formulations is a plus

Soft Skills:

Innovative thinker with a solution-oriented mindset

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education & Certifications

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Cosmetic Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields

Certifications in Cosmetic Science or Formulation Development are preferred

Preferred Experience

2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a cosmetic or personal care R&D; setting

Experience in private label manufacturing or contract development is highly desirable
