Role & responsibilities:

- Handle end-to-end project procurement activities for engineering and project-based requirements.
- Vendor identification, development, evaluation, and negotiation for cost-effective procurement.
- Float RFQs, collect quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize orders.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, production, and stores teams for material planning and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and project materials.
- Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement documentation and records.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages for ongoing projects.




- Develop and maintain robust supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and commercial terms.
- Cost optimization and effective negotiation to achieve project budget targets.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation activities for project materials.
- Maintain MIS reports related to procurement, vendor status, and project purchasing activities.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Candidate with Engineering Purchase Experience in Pharmaceutical Company
