Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finishing Engineer with 8-12 years of expertise in residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all finishing and interior fit-out activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship, timely project execution, and compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage all finishing and fit-out works, including flooring, tiling, painting, false ceilings, joinery, waterproofing, faade finishes, and interior works.
- Ensure execution of finishing activities as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and project teams for smooth execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of finishing milestones.
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project requirements.
- Review and resolve site-related technical and finishing issues.
- Verify material quality, quantities, and contractor performance.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities, snag lists, quality reports, and progress reports.
- Coordinate mock-ups, sample approvals, and finishing material selections.
- Manage handover activities and ensure closure of snag and punch-list items.

Required Skills & Experience





- 8-12 years of experience in finishing and fit-out execution for residential and commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior finishing works, fit-out processes, and construction methodologies.
- Experience in handling premium residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality interiors will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of finishing materials, specifications, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and civil drawings.
- Experience in managing contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Strong coordination, execution, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of site quality control and safety practices.
- Ability to manage multiple finishing activities while maintaining project timelines.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Detail-oriented professional with a strong focus on quality and aesthetics.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and deliver projects within timelines.
- Experience in high-end residential and commercial fit-out projects will be preferred.
