- Close interaction with ID, Engineering, Research and Manufacturing departments
- Concept Engineering for new format products
- Knowledge of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering
- Hands on knowledge in material and management processes
- Creative problem solving
- Quick prototypes and creating POC
- Detailing in CAD environment
- Making engineering reports
- Cost analysis and value engineering

Job Requirements

- B.E/ B.Tech in Mechanical/ Polymer/ Plastics/ Mechatronic/ Production Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical/Polymer Engineering with relevant job experience
- 4 - 10 + years of relevant experience. Experience in sheet metal component/assemblies and/or plastic part engineering design, electro mechanical assemblies
- Platform preferred solidworks, NX, Pro E, Fusion, Rhino
- Traditional manufacturing processes
- Plastic Engineering
- Injection moulding , blow moulding, vacuum forming, composites
- Creative detailing on CAD, fitment
- Design led engineering of plastic components
- Sheet metal




- Fabrication processes and constraints
- Hardware and OEM components
- Costing of assemblies
- CAD
- Surface and solid modeling of complex plastic components
- Sheet metal modeling
- Parametric and large format assemblies
- Standards and Documentation
- Knowledge of engineering standards
- Technical drawing knowledge
- Bills of Material, specialization sheet, revision drawings
