JOB DESCRIPTION ::
Product & Program Manager LAMS (Land Acquisition & Management System)
ABOUT THE ROLE ::
Lodha Developers are seeking a Product & Program Manager to own the business-facing management, evolution, and delivery governance of LAMS (Land Acquisition & Management System). LAMS is a GIS + MIS hybrid web and mobile platform used to manage land acquisition and spatial land data across Lodha's land bank, built and maintained by CyberSWIFT Infotech Pvt. Ltd.
This is a coordination- and delivery-focused role that sits between Lodha's business users and the CyberSWIFT development team. It combines product management (requirements, roadmap, design input, adoption) with program management (planning, QA, tracking, and governance of releases). Hands-on development is not expected; strong web/mobile UI sensibility, design coordination, and people skills matter far more than deep technical expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ::
- Product Management – Manage, enhance, and improve product, strategize and roadmap features and changes, optimize performance and integrate across associated systems.
- User Enablement & Training – Train business users — both existing and new — on LAMS functionality, workflows, and best practices, ensuring consistent and confident platform adoption across teams.
- Requirements Management – Gather, document, and prioritise requirements from business users for change requests (CRs) and new features, translating business needs into clear functional asks.
- Vendor Briefing & Design Input – Brief CyberSWIFT (the LAMS development partner) on approved changes, including preparing mockups, wireframes, and design references — using AI-assisted design tools — to speed up shared understanding and reduce build rework.
- Program Management of Development – Program manage the end-to-end implementation of changes with CyberSWIFT developers — planning, sequencing, tracking timelines, and unblocking dependencies through to release.
- Quality Assurance – Carry out QA on developed features, including writing test cases, executing test cycles, logging defects, and validating fixes before UAT sign-off and production release.
- Usage Monitoring & Adoption – Monitor how business users are using LAMS, identify adoption gaps or friction points, and feed insights back into the product roadmap.
- Master Data Management – Own and manage LAMS master data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely upkeep across modules.
- User & Access Management – Manage LAMS users and roles, and track user onboarding and offboarding in line with access governance requirements.
- Infrastructure Tracking – Track infrastructure consumption and usage — DNS, domains, SSL certificates, VPN, storage, uptime,
and performance — in coordination with the Lodha IT Infrastructure team.
- Integration Monitoring – Monitor the performance of integration APIs connecting LAMS with other enterprise systems, flagging and escalating degradation or failures.
- Troubleshooting – Perform general first-level troubleshooting of platform issues raised by business users, coordinating with CyberSWIFT or Lodha IT as needed for resolution.
- Reporting & Dashboards – Create and maintain reports and dashboards on development progress, release status, and overall project tracking for stakeholders and leadership.
- Incident & Continuity Management – Monitor incidents and drive root cause analysis (RCA); oversee backup and restore processes to ensure platform reliability and data continuity.
- Documentation & Training Assets – Create and maintain documentation, training manuals, and enablement assets (user guides, FAQs, release notes, video walkthroughs) for the LAMS user community.
REQUIRED SKILLS ::
- Product & Program Management – Proven experience running a product/feature roadmap and managing delivery timelines with an external development vendor.
- AI Usage Skills – Proven experience using AI tools to create screens, run QA, analyze process flows and enhance products.
- Requirements & Business Analysis – Ability to elicit, structure, and prioritise business requirements and translate them into clear specifications for a development team.
- UI/UX & Design Sensibility – Comfort creating wireframes, mockups, and design references — including using AI-assisted design/prototyping tools — for both web and mobile interfaces.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination – Skilled at managing a development vendor relationship (CyberSWIFT) alongside internal business and IT stakeholders, keeping both aligned on scope and timelines.
- QA & Testing – Ability to write structured test cases, run UAT cycles, and track defects to closure.
- Reporting & Dashboarding – Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint (PowerBI a plus) to build progress reports and tracking dashboards for leadership.
- Training & Documentation – Solid ability to create training content and documentation, and to deliver training sessions to non-technical business users.
- People & Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting to business users,
IT leadership, and vendor teams alike.
GOOD TO HAVE ::
- Working understanding of GIS + MIS enterprise platforms (spatial data concepts, web mapping, land management workflows).
- Basic technical fluency — enough to hold informed conversations with developers on APIs, databases, and infrastructure (hands-on coding not required).
- Familiarity with design/prototyping tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or AI-based mockup generators.
- Exposure to project/work tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or MS Project.
- Understanding of IT governance concepts relevant to Lodha (DPDP, ISO 27001) as they apply to master data and access management.
- Prior experience with real estate, land acquisition, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent IT service management certification.
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS ::
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or PGDM preferred.
- 4–8 years of experience in product management, program/project management, or business systems ownership — ideally for an enterprise application built and maintained by an external vendor.
- Demonstrated experience managing requirements, releases, and stakeholder communication for a live business platform.
- Experience training and supporting non-technical business users on enterprise software.
SOFT SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES ::
- Strong stakeholder and people management skills — able to work confidently with business users, senior IT leadership, and an external development team.
- Structured and organised, with the discipline to track multiple concurrent change requests, defects, and releases.
- Good design instincts and attention to usability, especially for web and mobile experiences.
- Clear, confident communicator and trainer — able to simplify technical or process detail for business audiences.
- Ownership mindset — proactive about identifying issues (usage gaps, infra risks, integration failures) rather than waiting to be told.
- Comfortable operating under pressure during incidents, releases, or year-end reporting cycles.
WHAT WE OFFER ::
- Ownership of a mission-critical GIS + MIS platform used across Lodha's land acquisition function.
- A unique blend of product management, program management, and design coordination — with high visibility to IT and business leadership.
- Opportunity to work with AI-assisted design and productivity tools as part of day-to-day vendor coordination.
- Competitive compensation aligned with Mumbai market rates for 4–8 years of experience.
- Exposure to Lodha's broader IT governance landscape (DPDP, ISO 27001) and enterprise systems ecosystem (SAP, Salesforce).
