4. Job Summary

Responsible for managing shift-wise plant operations, ensuring protected and efficient production, optimum equipment utilization, quality compliance, and smooth coordination between Production, Maintenance, QC, EHS, and Utilities teams.

5. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise complete shift production activities.
- Monitor plant operations through DCS/SCADA and field operations.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and process parameters are achieved.
- Monitor bulk material handling, conveying, storage, and transfer systems.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, QC, EHS, and Utilities teams for smooth operations.
- Identify process abnormalities and take immediate corrective action.
- Ensure safe operation of plant equipment and adherence to SOPs.
- Conduct shift handover and maintain proper shift records.
- Monitor manpower deployment and allocate work effectively.
- Handle plant start-up, shutdown, changeover,



and emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, LOTO, work permits, and plant safety procedures.
- Report breakdowns, production losses, abnormalities, and incidents to management.
- Support continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost reduction initiatives.

6. Required Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering may be considered based on experience.
- Knowledge of process plant operations is preferred.

7. Experience

1–2 Years of experience in a chemical, fertilizer, process, or manufacturing plant.

Preferred: Experience in DCS operation and bulk material handling systems.
