We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Jewelry CAD Designer to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will translate 2D hand sketches, concept drawings, and customer requirements into exact, production-ready 3D CAD models. You will bridge the gap between creative design and factory floor manufacturing, ensuring every piece is structurally sound, cost-effective, and optimized for mass production and casting.

Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling: Build highly accurate 3D models for rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and necklaces.
- Sketch Translation: Convert hand sketches, images, or physical master samples into exact digital files.
- Factory Feasibility: Design models that respect factory tolerances, calculating correct metal weights, prongs, and stone-setting allowances.
- Casting Preparation: Create casting-ready models, understanding shrinkage rates for wax-to-metal conversions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product development, master model makers, and casting teams to troubleshoot design flaws.
- File Management:



Organize and archive 3D asset libraries, maintaining strict version control and technical spec sheets.
- Revisions: Modify existing CAD files based on quality control feedback or custom client requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Software Mastery: Deep proficiency in industry-standard software like Gemvision Matrix, Rhino, or JewelCAD.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Solid grasp of commercial jewelry production, including rubber molding, investment casting, and polishing tolerances.
- Gemstone Expertise: Deep understanding of diamond and gemstone cuts, shapes, sizes, and setting types like pavé, prong, and bezel.
- Technical Math: Ability to calculate precise metal weights (gold, platinum, silver) and material distributions.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision when handling micro-measurements down to the millimeter.
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically within a jewelry manufact
