Assistant Restaurant Manager – Jal & Jalebi

Jal & Jalebi, the award-winning restaurant at GANGA KINARE – A Riverside Boutique Resort, Rishikesh, is looking for an experienced and guest-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for premium F&B; service, excellent communication skills, impeccable personal grooming and the ability to create memorable, personalised dining experiences for our guests.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of Jal & Jalebi, ensuring smooth and productive restaurant service.
- Deliver warm, personalised and premium F&B; experiences that reflect the standards and personality of Jal & Jalebi and GANGA KINARE.
- Personally oversee and execute curated dining experiences, including our signature F&B; thali experiences, private dining and personalised butler-style services.
- Ensure consistently high standards of service, presentation, hygiene and guest interaction.
- Welcome and engage with guests personally,



understand their preferences and proactively enhance their dining experience.
- Be able to confidently communicate the story, concept and talking points behind our food, experiences and the restaurant.
- Manage high guest footfalls and busy service periods while maintaining service quality and composure.
- Supervise restaurant associates during service and ensure effective coordination between F&B; service, kitchen and other hotel departments.
- Train, coach and groom team members on service standards, grooming, etiquette, product knowledge and guest engagement.
- Lead by example and create a culture of professionalism, warmth, ownership and attention to detail.
- Handle guest feedback, requests and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor table setups, mise-en-place, restaurant presentation and overall readiness before and during service.
