Job Summary:
Looking for an experienced Microsoft Purview Data Governance Engineer with expertise in data governance, metadata management, automation, and Microsoft 365 compliance. The role involves implementing Microsoft Purview, automating governance processes, managing data catalogs and classifications, and ensuring secure and compliant data management across cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Microsoft Purview for enterprise data sources.
- Automate data source registration, scanning, and governance workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI.
- Manage Purview Data Map, Catalog, Collections, Classifications, and Lineage.




- Define and enforce governance policies across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Support Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) migration and governance.
- Ensure data compliance, privacy, lifecycle management, and regulatory adherence.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Microsoft Purview or Data Governance platforms.
- Robust hands-on experience with Purview scanning, classification, and metadata management.
- Expertise in PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI automation.
- Experience with Azure SQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other enterprise data sources.
- Good understanding of data governance, compliance, security, and Microsoft 365 governance.
