Ciena is seeking a Regional Operational Leader, APJ Submarine to lead regional services and operations for complex submarine network deployments. The role drives project delivery, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance across a portfolio of large-scale telecommunications initiatives. Success in this position contributes directly to the growth, reliability, and long-term value of Ciena's submarine services business.

How you will make an impact:
- Lead regional services and operations activities, including project delivery, training delivery, and post-sales support in alignment with contractual requirements.
- Coordinate project execution, resource allocation,



and delivery performance to achieve schedule, scope, and budget commitments.
- Manage maintenance activities for deployed networks and achieve service level agreement commitments and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Direct organizational planning, forecasting, risk management, change management, and business performance reporting across the regional services portfolio.
- Drive collaboration across internal and external stakeholders to meet customer expectations and business objectives.
- Develop and execute services cross-sell and upsell strategies to expand customer engagement and revenue opportunities.
- Lead pre-sales and sales support activities, including development of project plans, services statements of work, pricing models, and contract negotiation support.
