About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js and NestJS, with MySQL as our primary database. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable, high-performance APIs and services.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and NestJS
Write efficient MySQL queries and design optimized database schemas
Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with user-facing features
Debug and resolve performance issues and production bugs
Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices




Work with DevOps to deploy and monitor applications
Document APIs and technical designs

Requirements

2+ years of qualified experience in backend development with Node.js
Hands-on experience with NestJS
Strong experience with MySQL, including schema design and query optimization
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth
Good understanding of asynchronous programming and the Node.js event loop

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
