Our client is an Australian company, a leader in their industry, seeking an experienced and highly skilled Draughtsman (Mechanical) to join their team remotely from India.

THE ROLE:

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of mechanical and electrical projects, transforming ideas into high-quality 3D models and exact manufacturing documentation.



This position involves close collaboration with engineers and workshop teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and aligned with production capabilities.

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing mechanical and electrical projects.
- Contribute to concept product development.
- Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using 3D CAD software.
- Prepare manuals, reports, and other technical documents.
- Manage smaller projects from conception to implementation.
- Liaise with customers, production staff, and suppliers.
- Maintain drafting libraries, work instructions, and office documentation.
- Ensure adherence to ISO9001 quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D mechanical CAD design and drafting.
- Mechanical engineering qualification preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
