Role & responsibilities
- To teach students with visual impairment on computer skills with the use of different screen reading and magnifying software.
- To involve and assist in other general services of the centre such as skills training, coordination of events and programs
- Provide computer and digital literacy training to persons with visual impairment.
- Train beneficiaries on screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA, magnification software, and other assistive technologies.
- Conduct individual and group training sessions based on learners' needs.
- Assess trainee skills and monitor progress.
- Develop accessible training materials and practical exercises.
- Provide basic technical troubleshooting and assistive technology support.
- Maintain training records, assessment reports, and progress documentation.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to support education, employment, and independent living goals.
