About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced
*SAS Developer*
with
*strong SQL*
skills to join our data and analytics team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in
SAS programming
, data analysis,
ETL processes
, and database querying. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling large datasets, developing reports, and supporting business requirements in a quick-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize
SAS programs
and batch jobs.
- Write complex
SQL queries
, stored procedures, and data extraction scripts.
- Perform data analysis, validation, cleansing, and transformation activities.
- Work with large-scale databases and data warehouses.
- Create reports, dashboards, and analytical datasets using
SAS
.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance-related issues.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with standards.




- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and deployment activities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in
SAS Programming/Base SAS
.
- Good experience in
SQL and database querying
.
- Experience in data analysis,
ETL, and reporting
.
- Knowledge
of SAS Macros, PROC SQL, and SAS Data Step
programming.
- Strong understanding of
RDBMS concepts
.
- Experience working with
Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata
, or similar databases.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good-to-Have:
- Experience in BFSI/Banking/Healthcare domain.
- Exposure to
Unix/Linux
scripting.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience with
SAS EG or SAS Viya
is an added advantage.
- Communication and stakeholder management skills.
