Business Analyst – Financial Systems & Platform Configuration

Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a strong financial background and sound technical aptitude to support the implementation and configuration of a fund management platform.

The role involves working closely with business, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders to configure the platform based on business requirements. This is a hands-on system-focused role, involving platform configuration, data analysis, and financial domain understanding rather than purely documentation-driven business analysis.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and maintain system components through the platform's graphical user interface (GUI).
- Set up and manage views, filters, indicators, and configuration parameters based on business requirements.
- Analyze financial products, data structures, investment constraints, and business rules.
- Work closely with risk, compliance, investment, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial data and system behavior to ensure accurate configuration.
- Support the implementation and integration of the platform with existing systems and data sources.
- Investigate configuration issues and identify appropriate solutions through system and data analysis.
- Collaborate with local and international stakeholders on requirements, configuration, testing, and implementation activities.
- Communicate effectively with business and risk stakeholders and explain technical/system concepts clearly.
- Ensure configurations align with applicable financial practices, regulations, ratings, and market requirements.

Required Skills & Experience




- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role within the financial services domain.
- Robust understanding of financial products, investment data, and financial markets.
- Good understanding of risk, compliance, investment constraints, and financial data.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems and data structures.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, parameter setup, data analysis, or financial applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and deep-dive into complex system and business requirements.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working directly within a financial platform, analyzing data and business rules, and translating requirements into system configurations.
