MERN Stack Intern (Remote | AI-First)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated MERN Stack Intern who embraces AI-first development practices. You will work on real-world products, collaborate with experienced engineers, and leverage AI tools to accelerate software development and problem-solving.

Internship-to-Full-Time Opportunity

Interns who demonstrate strong performance, ownership, and a proactive approach to learning and delivering results will be offered a full-time position at the end of the internship period.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web application features using React.js and Node.js.
- Build and consume REST APIs.
- Work with Amazon RDS (MySQL) databases.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and database integrations.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Code to improve development efficiency.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.




- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

- Basic understanding of JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Familiarity with MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web development concepts.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning and adopting AI-assisted development workflows.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Code for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.

Preferred Skills

- TypeScript
- AWS fundamentals
- Personal, academic, or open-source projects
