Job Summary

The Curriculum Designer is responsible for collaborating with the Chief Academic Officer, Program Manager, Instructional Technologist, and other Curriculum Designers to design online courses. The Curriculum Designer participates in the design of training materials, course content, and fully online courses. The Curriculum Designer will maintain and evolve the course development standards in coordination with other Curriculum Designers. The Curriculum Designer role will also support the onboarding and training of recent Curriculum Designers.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the Chief Academic Officer, Program Manager, Instructional Technologist, and other Curriculum Designers to produce courses that are instructionally sound, interactive at multiple levels, achieve the competencies, and meet the needs of the program.
- Design authentic assessments to demonstrate achievement of the course competencies.
- Design courses that meet ECCUs quality standards.
- Create and maintain styles, standards, and best practices for online course design.
- Conduct training and informative sessions with peers, faculty, and staff.
- Create interactive multimedia elements that incorporate multiple learning styles.
- Design courses and partake in large-scale projects/initiatives.




- Articulate design approaches and best practices in online learning to the Chief Academic Officer and Program Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- At least 5 years curriculum/instructional design experience
- Higher Education and EdTech experience preferred
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience building storyboards for engaging training or courses built by Instructional Technologists on Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Premiere, and/or similar tools.
- A bachelors degree in curriculum and instruction or instructional design/technology from an accredited institution is preferred. A computer science/IT bachelors degree is an added advantage. EC-Council University follows the requirements set by the Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and the states in which the University operates.

Candidates with International exposure and available to join at short notice are preferred.
