Role & responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Accounting
- Manage end-to-end accounting functions.
- Handle project-wise accounting and cost tracking.
- Prepare and review P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
- Monitor overheads and project profitability.

2. Invoicing, Receivables & Payables
- Manage client invoicing based on project milestones.
- Monitor receivables and debtor collections.
- Oversee vendor payments and payable cycles.
- Coordinate with project and procurement teams for billing accuracy.

3. Working Capital Management
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts.
- Manage fund utilization and liquidity.
- Handle banking relationships and credit facilities.
- Monitor project cash flow and financial discipline.

4. Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely GST and TDS compliance.
- Coordinate statutory audits.
- Handle Income Tax, GST assessments, notices and queries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.

5. Financial Planning & Advisory
- Provide financial insights to management.
- Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.




- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for projects.
- Advise on cost control, profitability and risk management.

6. Interior Industry Finance
- Manage project-based billing and BOQ-related accounting.
- Handle retention amounts, advance payments and milestone billing.
- Understand material procurement cycles and vendor payment terms.
- Manage site accounting and project cost allocation.

7. Audit & Internal Controls
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls.
- Lead internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and SOPs.

Preferred candidate profile
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience preferred.
- Mandatory experience in Interior Design / Fit-out / Construction
- Strong experience in project accounting, cost tracking and project-based billing.
