As an SEO Intern at Fitistan, you'll work closely with the marketing and content teams to improve our website's organic visibility, search rankings, and overall digital presence. You will gain hands-on experience in keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization, competitor analysis, and SEO performance tracking. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, curious about search engines, detail-oriented, and eager to learn digital marketing and SEO in a quick-growing fitness and wellness startup.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant, high-volume, and opportunity-based keywords.
- Assist in optimizing website pages, blogs, product pages, titles, meta descriptions, headings, and URLs.
- Perform on-page and basic technical SEO activities.
- Research competitors and analyze their SEO strategies, keywords, content, and backlink profiles.
- Assist in developing SEO-friendly content briefs and content ideas.
- Optimize existing website and blog content for improved search visibility.
- Monitor website rankings, organic traffic, clicks,



impressions, and other SEO metrics.
- Assist in identifying and fixing basic SEO issues such as broken links, duplicate content, missing metadata, and indexing-related issues.
- Support internal linking and backlink-building initiatives.
- Conduct regular SEO audits and prepare performance reports.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.

Skills Required:
- Basic understanding of SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and Technical SEO.
- Good understanding of keyword research and search intent.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, website structure, and URLs is an added advantage.
- Good content writing and editing skill
