Designation: Director Projects (Construction).

Preferred Educational Qualification: MBA is mandatory,

degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field

Age: 40 to 50 years.

Experience: Minimum 18 years of experience in construction project management, leading a team more than 10 people, preferably within higher education or institutional environments

Role Summary:

The Director of Projects (Construction) will lead the end-to-end planning, development, and execution of all construction and infrastructure initiatives across the university campus. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with university standards for quality, sustainability, and safety. The Director will coordinate with internal departments and external agencies, oversee a team of project managers, and serve as a strategic advisor to university leadership on all matters related to capital projects and infrastructure development.

Roles and Responsibilities:




- Lead and manage university-wide construction projects including recent buildings, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with university leadership and stakeholders.
• Oversee architectural design reviews, procurement processes, contractor selection, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with university standards, local building codes, environmental norms, and safety regulations.
• Monitor construction progress, budget adherence, quality control, and risk mitigation across multiple projects.
• Prepare and deliver detailed project reports and presentations to university management and governing bodies.
• Manage, mentor, and build a high-performing team of project managers and support staff.
• Champion sustainable construction practices and integrate energy efficiency in all development plans.
