Job Description: SAP VIM Functional Consultant (Staff Augmentation)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Functional Consultant to provide staff augmentation support through the remainder of the year. Working under the strategic and operational direction of the Invoicing Tech Lead, this role will focus on stabilizing the SAP Invoicing support landscape by reducing operational backlog, improving support processes, and strengthening the capabilities of the AMS organization.

The consultant will serve as the subject matter expert for SAP VIM, driving execution across incident resolution, knowledge management, Operations process standardization, and continuous improvement. Success in this role will be measured not only by clearing existing work but by leaving behind sustainable practices, documentation, and automation that improve long-term operational support.

This role requires a highly independent,



action-oriented individual who can quickly assess the current state, identify improvement opportunities, and execute with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities

Working under the guidance and priorities established by the Invoicing Tech Lead, the SAP VIM Functional Consultant will:

SAP VIM Operational Support
- Serve as the functional subject matter expert for SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
- Rapidly assess and resolve the existing backlog of production incidents and standard operational requests.
- Troubleshoot functional issues across SAP VIM and related invoice processing workflows.
- Partner with AMS resources to improve the quality and speed of issue resolution.
- Identify recurring production issues and recommend permanent corrective actions.
