Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Lab Technician to support laboratory operations, sample collection, testing, documentation, and maintaining laboratory standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collect, label, and process patient samples accurately.
- Perform routine laboratory tests as per standard procedures.
- Handle blood, urine, and other clinical samples safely.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate test records and reports.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and quality-control procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of samples and laboratory waste.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory.
- Report any abnormal results or equipment issues to the concerned senior staff.
- Follow hospital policies and applicable laboratory guidelines.
Requirements
- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT or equivalent qualification.
- Fresher to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a hospital workplace.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
